Most factory trucks ship with a slight forward rake (lower in the front than the rear) to compensate for cargo or trailer weight. A leveling kit adds 1 to 3 inches in the front to even out the stance and let you run a slightly larger tire. Leveling kits are typically the lowest-cost suspension modification and the easiest install.
