Off-Road Vehicle Maintenance & Repair in Denver

What We Do

Oil changes, brake service, timing belts, fluid services, diagnostics, and inspections. The full range of maintenance and repair that keeps your truck on the road and on the trail.

Here is what makes us different. Our technicians work on modified trucks every single day. A lifted truck running 35s, a front bumper, sliders, a full roof rack, and a supercharger is a completely different animal than a stock commuter. The added weight changes brake wear patterns. Larger tires put more stress on wheel bearings, ball joints, and axle components. A supercharger or turbo kit means your oil and cooling system are working harder. We understand how modifications affect the rest of the vehicle, and we factor that into every service.

Most shops treat a modified truck the same as a stock one. They pull up the factory maintenance schedule and call it done. That does not work when the truck has been significantly changed from stock. We look at the full picture: what has been modified, how the truck is being used, and what needs extra attention because of it.

We are located at 930 W Mississippi Ave in Denver and serve the entire metro area, including Lakewood, Englewood, Littleton, Aurora, Arvada, and Boulder.

Built for Every Off-Road Platform

Tacoma. 4Runner. Tundra. Ford Raptor. Bronco. Wrangler. Colorado ZR2. Ram. We maintain and repair all of them.

We also work on stock trucks and daily drivers. You do not need a fully built rig to bring your vehicle to Tru. If you just need an oil change, brake pads, or a check engine light diagnosed, we handle that too. Our shop is equipped for everything from routine maintenance on your daily driver to complex repairs on a heavily modified trail truck.

If it has four wheels and you need it serviced, we are happy to take a look.

Why Bring Your Modified Truck to Tru

Most franchise shops see a lifted truck pull into the bay and immediately start looking for reasons to turn it away. They do not have the tooling, the lift clearance, or the experience to work on modified vehicles. When they do take the job, they service it like a stock truck and miss what actually matters.

We built your truck. We know what is on it, how it was installed, and what to look for when it comes back in for service. That means post-build checks, retorques on suspension components, inspection of modified drivetrain parts, and understanding how your specific setup affects brake wear, fluid intervals, and component life.

Bigger tires and added weight from armor and accessories change how fast your brakes wear, how hard your cooling system works, and how much stress your wheel bearings and ball joints are under. Regular alignment checks and drivetrain inspections are part of keeping a modified truck healthy long-term. A shop that does not understand those relationships will miss things. We do not miss them because we deal with them every day.

We also offer post-build follow-up service. After a major install, we recommend bringing the truck back for a retorque and inspection. Bolts settle, suspension components seat in, and things shift during the first few hundred miles. Catching that early means everything stays tight and performs the way it should.

Common Questions About Vehicle Maintenance & Repair

Answers to what customers ask us most about maintenance, repairs, and servicing modified vehicles.

General Maintenance

Do you work on stock trucks too?

Yes. You do not need a modified vehicle to come to Tru. We work on stock trucks, SUVs, and daily drivers. Oil changes, brake jobs, diagnostics, timing belts, fluid services. If you need it maintained or repaired, we can handle it.

How often should I get an oil change on a modified truck?

It depends on the modifications and how you use the truck. A stock engine on a daily driver follows the factory interval. But if you are running a supercharger or turbo kit, towing heavy loads, or spending time on dusty trails, your oil is working harder and should be changed more frequently. We will look at your specific build and driving habits and give you an honest recommendation. There is no one-size-fits-all answer for modified trucks.

Do you do brakes?

Yes. Pad replacement, rotor resurfacing and replacement, brake line upgrades, and full brake system inspection. Modified trucks with bigger tires and added weight wear brakes faster than stock, and we factor that into our service recommendations. We will let you know what you need and what can wait.

Inspections & Specialized Service

Can you inspect a truck I am thinking of buying?

Absolutely. We do pre-purchase inspections on used trucks and SUVs. We will go through the vehicle and give you an honest assessment of its condition, including any modifications that were done well and any that were done poorly. If you are buying a modified truck, having someone who understands aftermarket builds look it over can save you from expensive surprises.
