Built to balance strength, clearance, and versatility, the Tacoma Hybrid Front Bumper gives your 4th Gen Tacoma the protection and functionality needed for serious off-road use. This bumper fits most 8k-12k winches, with confirmed fitment for the Warn VR series. The electrical control box must be relocated, and some trimming/fitting may be required. For best performance, we recommend using synthetic rope winches with a hawse fairlead, as larger roller fairleads may not fit the recessed mount. Convenient front cutouts provide easy winch lever access.
The bumper is designed to fit 30″ single-row light bars (Baja Designs S8, Heretic Studio 30", Rigid SR-30) along with up to four Baja Designs Squadrons and two S2 lights, giving you maximum visibility on the trail.
Strength is at the core of the design. The main body is crafted from 3/16″ steel, with 1 3/4″ OD tubing (1/8″ wall thickness) and reinforced 1 1/2″ OD gussets on the mid-height bull bar. Recovery points are handled by 3/4″ thick D-ring tabs, fully welded front and back. Weight ranges from 107 lbs (no bull bar) to 123 lbs (mid-height bull bar with gussets).
Every bull bar option is compatible with Toyota Safety Sense and parking sensors, though some vehicles may require professional TSS recalibration after installation. The bumper also includes a washer tank skid and a winch controller relocation kit. TRD Pro and TRD Off-Road models do not require an additional mini-skid panel.
Installation requires trimming the factory plastic bumper. Unless powder coating is selected, the bumper must be painted or coated before installation to prevent rust.
